Impressed with the accuracy

Stryd performed well on a windy day on the track
Today I put Stryd to the test on a proper running track for the first time, which gave me the opportunity to fully test Stryd at a 10k time trial. The race predictor had given me a time of 36:52 +- 45" and I managed 37:43, which I'm pretty happy with considering it was quite windy (3% air resistance overall).
Finishing stronger than ever
Since running with Stryd, I am able to maintain a stronger end to runs and able to stay in training zones too. Yesterday was a big bike and brick run off at marathon power. Not knowing how the legs were going to feel if the perceived effort was anything to go by I was holding back, never did I feel like I couldn't control the effort. Happy with the final outcome and as others have said, after training, I get back and never feel smashed where I can't train again the next day. So cheers and hopefully, this brings some run PBs now that races are finally starting back up here in the UK.
4 weeks of training, really impressed
Result of a 4-week Stryd HM training plan. Really impressed, especially as I was quite dubious at all the easy running.
I’m on my way to crushing that PR.
First in person race in 18 months! I am extremely impressed with the progress I’ve made while using Stryd for about 10 months now. The HM training plan has increased my speed tremendously and Stryd has been beyond helpful in helping me get used to running by feel. My HM PR is 1:56, so hopefully, after this 1:15 10-mile effort, I’m on my way to crushing that PR. So excited to share this with all of you and excited to see what the next few months brings!
Kudos to This Training
I'd like to share my success story. After 12 weeks of high-volume HM training plan, I tried the PowerRace App today and ran the half marathon. I couldn't be happier. The race predictor said something around 1:29:40 (I think), which I thought to be ambitious. Turned out that, with some hills that weren't taken into consideration, I managed to finish it in 1:29:55. Improved my PR by 8 minutes. 14k into the race, I thought that I would not be able to hold the pace. But I did - and I literally finished the run on the last bit of energy I had left. This really gave me the confidence to trust in myself and trust my Stryd. And, I might add, during the power-based training plan, I had a higher weekly volume than ever before, but I never felt overtrained or something. Really spot on. Kudos to this product!
Smashed a New Personal Best
Smashed 65 seconds off my 10k PB today, averaging 321W. This was 14W over my Auto-calculated Critical Power but felt good. That’s having done just a few short weeks of power-based training. Roll on my next race at the end of June. CP has risen to 317W as a result too! Boom!
Today was my first proper race event since getting my Stryd pod back in November. A local 10K to get my season off the ground. Stryd estimated my time for the course and conditions at 51:16 +/- 2 mins. My actual time was 52:38 so it was definitely accurate. I focused on my target watts alone. I didn't have my pace or heart rate on display. I was 3 watts off my target pace but still within the target time range so all good.
I wanted to say a great job to the Stryd team. The more I use the workouts that you created the more I like using my Stryd pod. The best investment I’ve made with my training is using your power based workouts!!
More Faith in My Training
I hit the finish line with a 216W average ... exactly what Stryd was recommending. The run updated my CP to 226W, and with that updated CP, the race predictor is accurate to my actual result within six seconds (!!!). I'm just amazed at how accurate the analysis tools here are. I'm new to Stryd, but will certainly put more faith in power-based training etc. going forward!
